For the last few years we have been known as Cidr, but that name doesn't really tell you what we are about. It's also a name that means nothing if you say it out loud. Tell someone to go to "cidr.com" and they will end up at "cider.com". We finally decided on a name that really conveys exactly what we are all about, and is much easier to share with friends. We are nerds, and we love cider. Cider Nerd!

This is a project of passion for me, and I will work to add new ciders and features continuously. Come back frequently to see what's been added and changed!
How sweet or dry a cider can be is only sometimes advertised on the bottle, and even when that is on the bottle it can be different than how an average cider drinker would perceive how sweet or dry that cider is. The perfect example is that many ciders are advertised as "semi-dry" when many people would describe them as "sweet". Here at Cider Nerd, we primarily show the average dryness/sweetness based on what our users have told us. This gives you a better idea of just how dry or sweet a cider will actually taste to you.
